Strange styling and a high price made this well built British sporting car unable to compete with the Jaguar XK140 in 1957. Thus only 50 were built. This yellow car originally bought for King Faisel II of Iraq while he was student in England, has lived in the US since 1959. It is the last production one made ( #50)  and we have recently found and purchased (#01) for restoration. What a pair of book ends?
