One of the most under rated and unknown (at least in the US) of all British cars. The Alvis TD21. A true "gentlemans" sporting car in the vein of Aston Martin and Lagonda. Powered by a healthy 3 litre 6 , this car is a pleasure to drive and easy to fall in love with. Which is exactly what I did when I bought my first one while in England in 1972. I didn't even know what it was when I saw it. I thought it was a Bentley continental convertible. Over the years I have had several more and am just finishing up a lovely, 5speed, AC, electric power steering version in LHD. Are you seeing a pattern here? Yes, I do build cars to actually be driven. "Damn You", say some, but they are, in fact AUTOMOBILES and when not used and enjoyed, are shamefully wasted....There....I've said it.
